Educational qualifications required for this post is Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical /Electrical /Electronics Engineering.
OR
Engineering Degrees obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech
Age: Applicant's age must not be exceed 27 years as on 01/08/2013. and 29 years for candidates
having two years’ full time Post Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration /Management.
Age Relaxation:
a)For SC/ST - by 5 years
b)For OBC (NCL) – by 3 years
c)For Physically Challenged - by 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC (NCL) and 15 years
for SC/ST category
d)Relaxation in age for Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Govt. rules
e)Upper age limit is relax able by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been
domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1/1/1980 to
31/12/1989.
