Andhra Bank inviting applications for the post of Probationary Officer/Specialist Officer from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officer cadre conducted by IBPS in September / November 2011/ for Specialist Officers on 11.03.2012 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.

Jobs Details:

Probationary Officer - - 400 posts

Educational qualifications required for this post is Any degree.

Age: Applicant's age must be between 20 and 30 years as on 01.07.2011

IT Officer - -40 posts

Educational qualifications required for this post is Degree / Post Graduation in CS/CA/IT/
 EC/ Instrumentation (OR) Degree with DOEACC ‘B’ level.

Age: Applicant's age must be between 20 and 35 years as on 01.12.2011

Rajabasha Officers - - 7 posts

Educational qualifications required for this post is PG Degree in Hindi with English as a
subject at degree level (OR) PG Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Degree level

Age: Applicant's age must be between 20 and 35 years as on 01.12.2011

HR Officers - -8 posts

Educational qualifications required for this post is Degree + PG Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management / IR / HRD social work /Labour Law (OR) Degree /Diploma  in Business Administration / Management with  specialization in HRD.

Age: Applicant's age must be between 20 and 35 years as on 01.12.2011

Law Officers - -15 posts
Educational qualifications required for this post is Degree in Law (LLB).

Experience needed for this post is 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officerin legal department of a reputed Bank or the Central /State Govt. or PSU.

Age: Applicant's age must be between 21 and 40 years as on 01.12.2011.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or
ii) a subject of Nepal or
iii) subject of Bhutan or
iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi,Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case  acertificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the GroupDiscussion/ Interview conducted by the Bank but on final

selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her.

Age relaxation in upper age limit:
a) For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates 5 years
b)  For Other Backward Classes candidates 3 years
c)  ForPersons with Disabilities (VI/HI/OC) 10 years
d)  ForPersons who have ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.1980 5 years and 31.12.1989
e) For In the case of Ex-service commissioned Officers,including ECO’s /SSCO’s, who have rendered at
least 5 years military service and have been released 5 years on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within six months from the last date for receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment. The relaxation in upper age-limit is not available to serving Commissioned Officers.
f) For Persons (children/ family members of those) 5 years affected by 1984 riots.

For General/OBC Rs. 100/- and for SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Ex-SM Rs.20.00.

Selection Procedure:

Selection procedure will be by way of Group Discussion and / or Interview. Bank reserves the right to decide as to whether Group Discussion and Interview should be held or only a process of interview may be prescribed depending upon the number of applications received.
