Single Window Operator - A (Clerical) - - 2985



Educational qualifications required for this job is Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks OR equivalent qualification from the University/Institute recognized by the Govt. of India and working knowledge of MS Office.

Additional Eligibility as on pending date of Registration: Should have a valid Score Card
issued by IBPS, Mumbai , of Common Written Examination conducted in the year 2011.

Age required for this job: Applicants age must be between 20 to 25 years as on 01.08.2012.

Relaxation in upper age limit:

a)Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates - - 5 Years
b)Other Backward Classes candidates - -  3 Years
c)Physically Challenged candidates - - 10 Years
d)All persons who are ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.80 to 31.12.89 - - 5 Years
e)Ex-Servicemen - - 3 years in addition to the actual period of service rendered in Defence services
subject to a maximum age of 50 years
f)Widows, Divorced women & women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried. - 9 years.
g)Children/family members of those who died in the 1984 riots - - 3 Years

Eligibility criteria  for this job is A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility Certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

Selection procedure:
a)Selection for the post of SWO-A will be made on the basis of performance in
Common Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Clerk held during Nov.-Dec 2011
conducted by IBPS and/or Personal Interview etc. The Bank reserves the right to change
the selection procedure, if necessary.

Personal Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates for Personal Interview to assess their suitability for the post, who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination.
