800 Probationary Clerk Jobs in Vijaya Bank 2012

Vijaya Bank inviting applicants for the posts of  800 Probationary Clerks through online from young and Dynamic candidates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerk-conducted by IBPS in the year of 2011.

Educational qualifications required for this post is candidate should be pass Higher Secondary

Examination/10+2/11+1+3/Intermediate/Diploma in Banking in any recognized by Central/State Government or U.T Administration.and For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XSM candidates a pass in HSC of 10+2/11th Std.
Or Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age: Applicant's age must be between 18 to 28 years as on 01/08/2011.

Relaxation in Upper age limit:

For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates - - 5 years

For Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates - - 3 years
For 3 PWD candidates - - 10 years
 For Ex-serviceman - -  Actual period of service rendered in Defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen  belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum of 50 years.
For Persons who are ordinarily being domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 - - 5 Years

For Widows, Divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands, who have not remarried - - 9 years

For Persons affected by 1984 riots- - 5 years

For Regular employees of Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (applicable for Madhya Pradesh State only) - - 5 years

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be either
(i) a citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the IBPS/Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Govt. of India.
