Educational Qualifications: A degree in B.Sc. Agriculture of a Recognized University in  the State or any other University recognized by ICAR  possessed as on 01.01.2012.

Age: Maximum age limit of 35 years as on 01.07.2012 are eligible to apply.  The age relaxation in respect of S.C.,S.T.,B.C.,  and P.H. candidates shall be followed as per the provision under Rule 12 of APS & SS rules.

Local Area: The post of Agricultural Officer is a localized post and each zone is a unit.  The selected candidates will be posted in the respective districts of the zone wherever vacancies available in the unit in which the applicant got selection.
