AGE: Age not below 18 years and not above 35 years as on30.11.2011.  Relaxation in upper age limit permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates.   For in service contract workers, working in this organization the age at the time of entry in to the organization as contract worker will be considered to ascertain eligibility or otherwise

SELECTION PROCEDURE :



1. The candidates have to appear for the following tests:
                  i.         Meter Reading.
                  ii.        Cycling.
                  iii.       Pole Climbing/Tower Climbing.

2.The candidates who pass the above tests alone, will become eligible for further evaluation of marks secured in 10th Class and I.T.I. or Intermediate Occasional Course.
                       
3. Evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum
of 55 marks  for the total aggregate marks obtained in SSC
and ITI or SSC & Intermediate   vocational course as the case may
 be and a  maximum of 45 marks for experience. 
4..The in-service contract worker who have been working
in this organization will  be given weightage marks to a 
maximum of 45, depending on the length of the  service in this
organization i.e., 5 marks per every half year(i.e. 180 days)
service as contract worker.Any disruption or discontinuation  
of service for a   continuous period of 180 days and above
for whatever the reason as contract  worker shall be considered, 
as if fresh commencement from the date of resumption after such
discontinuation or disruption.  Service less than six
months will not be considered for weightage.
5.  No Weightage will be given for the service rendered less than 
6 months. Inservice  contract candidates must be continuing
     in the organization, as on the date of this notification. A
   minimum of 6 months of continuous service as
  contract is necessary for considering weightage.
